About Us

Our business was based on filling the need and our desire to open an Authentic Hawaiian restaurant. Our dream was to serve foods that we were raised on, but most of all, to share the experience of the Island flavors and the hospitality. Being transplanted islanders to the Pacific Northwest we long for our island food. The famous two scoop rice and one scoop macaroni salad �plate lunch special.� You can get anywhere on the island, at fast foods restaurants, lunch wagons at every major parks, beaches or events.

Our business has been around for over nine years and having the opportunity to be featured on the food network show Diners Drive-inns and Dives has been a huge blessing. Our business has grown to another level, we have seen at least a 25% increase in gross sales. Thanks to Guy Fieri and his awesome crew. They came and produced an awesome shoot. The new customers that come through our doors each and every day that are big fans of the show and have been excited just to try the food, many have never been to Hawaii and now can say they experience the ALOHA sprit, what Hawaii is all about. This opportunity has blown us away by just how much fun it was to be a part of.

BIG MAHALOS to Page Productions and the many people that are involved in making this show a huge SUCCESS. This experience was a blessing to both Bobby and I.

The opportunity came to us by a good friend that was a fan of our cooking. We use to have bibles studies at our home every week and part of feeding the soul we believe in feeding (sharing) good meals for the body. Fellow Christian brothers and sister would tell us, you should open a restaurant cause your food is good stuff. Well our friend was pretty serious and one day he called us and said he found us a restaurant that is pretty much Turn Key ready to go. We went to check out the location and the rest is history.

Three years later we opened location number two in Kent, Washington. This location was in a major Asian strip mall with many different ethnic foods.

Three years later we were in need of more parking space for our Everett location. We then had an opportunity to purchase a building that was previously a famous breakfast restaurant known for the $2.22 special. There were eight studio apartment units above the restaurant that would assist in paying for the mortgage note. After five months of hard work, we created a little bit of paradise in the middle of Everett, Washington sharing good food, good fun, and the Aloha Spirit.
